3-piece melodic hardcore punk band from Miami, FL. We love Jawbreaker, Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio, Descendents. Sort of sound like Banner Pilot? Sure.
Yep. We got asked to play a benefit for our friend Jake Crown from Rehasher/Coffee Project while we’re up in Gainesville recording our EP. So if you’re in the area Saturday April 23rd, come out to 1982 and show some love! This show is guaranteed to kick some serious g-narly wang.
Quite possibly my favorite hardcore band that has popped up over the past few years. Not very many bands make me want to punch the air and stomp around like a retard when they play, but the mind tends to make me do just that.
I discovered them through Thomas from Foundation handing me a flyer for…
OK HERE WE GO, IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT THERE IS NO MUSIC SECTION IN THE TUMBLR EXPLORE! SO WHAT I WOULD LIKE YOU ALL TO DO IS REBLOG THIS POST IF YOU THINK THE TUMBLR STAFF SHOULD INCLDUE A MUSIC SECTION IN THE EXPLORE THING.
ANYBODY NEW TO TUMBLR IN THE PAST COULD GO TO THE DIRECTORY, GO TO THE MUSIC SECTION AND FIND MUSIC BASED TUMBLR AND FOLLOW THESE, BUT NOW THERE IS NOTHING, I KNOW SOME OF THE SITES ON THE MUSIC SECTION WERE NOT BASED JUST ON MUSIC, BUT THIS WAS BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE NOW!!!! WITH EXPLORE
SO PLEASE REBLOG THIS POST!!! REB
FOR ANYBODY INTERESTED YOU CAN STILL FIND DIRECTORY / MUSIC
We confirmed our recording dates, and we’ll be heading up to Moathouse Studios in G-ville, FL to record a brand new EP with Roger Lima of Less Than Jake. The record will then be mixed by Stephen Egerton (Descendents/ALL). We’re expecting about 6 songs on the EP, and a possible split later on in the year.
You can still check out some demos of the new tracks on our bandcamp.
We also just confirmed a show at the end of April with Go Rydell and Protagonist. We’re planning a nice little East Coast/Midwest tour once we get the record completed, so keep a look out!
A bunch of cool stuff coming up, hope you guys are as stoked as we are!
SO our weekend is ruling so far. How’s yours? Well, you should probably consider coming to AF Haus tonight at 11pm. There will be punk rock and stud muffins.
So we finally have some new recorded songs since 2008! Holy shit. Anyway, we wanted to try something different and give a first listen to the people who’ve supported us for a while by emailing out the link to our Mute Issue newsletter.
So if you’re interested in listening to our new songs be sure to sign-up for our newsletter. We DON’T spam! Sign-up below:
So we’ve probably had this design for a good two years. BUT with all the band drama going on, it was pretty difficult to get these bad boys printed. Funny story: We kept the band name, Mute Issue because we loved this design so much.
We finally got our Fresh Fest spot confirmed. We’ll be closing out on Sunday February 27th at AF Haus with good friends To Be Hated, Criminal Culture, Baker Acted, No Humanity and The Stillmen.
We’re also going to be hitting up the Shark Tank on Saturday February 26th w Coffee Project (members of Less Than Jake), That Kid with a Guitar and Jason Kutchma. Should be a ton of fun as all of their shows are. The venue even put in a good word saying we’re:
I still call these guys the best pop punk to come out of Miami. They’re veterans of the Shark Tank and always put on a good show.
Needless to say we’re pretty stoked. We’ll have new t-shirts and new songs. Can’t wait to see you guys there!
Seems like the new trend as of late, but we too shall be embarking into the studio very soon for some pre-production of a nice shiny new release(s). We’re doing this shit right this time.
